Friday night was a concert by The Swell Season (Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova) with Mary Margaret O'Hara. I will expand on this later, but I'll just say for now it was pretty freaking great; Glen & Marketa were great, the crowd was strange (made up mostly of fans of the movie Once, who cheered as soon as they head the songs they knew from the film) and Mary Margaret O'Hara was like nothing I've seen before. She has an amazing voice but almost seems scared or self concious about using it, often just sort of half singing the lines or throwing a few random notes & noises throughout.
