Thanks for a great collection.
Found this review to be very interesting:

From AMG Reviews

Sure, you can't judge a book by its cover, but that old saw doesn't even take into account the longrunning Blue Light seriesmore often than not, the discs don't even come with cover booklets, and the halfassed track listings below the CD tray come complete with a ridiculous number of misspellings. With no label information or copyright data in sight, it's safe to assume the discs are bootlegsso why such a high rating? For one thing, they're available in some of Chicago's independent retail outlets; second, unlike the vast majority of pirated releases on the market, the sound is startlingly good; and third, the track selection is impeccable, focusing on the kind of rare mellow soul grooves so beloved on Chicago's Dusty Steppers scene. The series is clearly a labor of love for whoever's behind it, and given each disc's dirtcheap price point, they're definitely worth the investment if classic soul and doowop is your bag. The first volume sets up the basic ground rules: a few hits (Ruby the Romantics' ?Our Day Will Come," Baby Washington's ?That's How Heartaches Are Made"), a slew of obscurities (the Notations' ?I'm Still Here," the United Four's ?Go On," the Radiants' ?Don't It Make You Feel Kinda Bad?") and one leftfield ?bonus" surprise (figure it out for yourself). In short, a fine beginning to a series far better than it has any right to be.

A truly sweet set here. The Knight Brothers, Wow! A side my neighbours must be very familiar with now as it always gets a loud airing along with other heart wrenching big ballads when the wines been flowing!

I certainly can't figure it out - what/who is the mystery track?

glad you enjoyed the cd. It's such a great collection. This is the side of soul music I just love.

And I have no idea who/what the bonus track is. They do it on all their comps...
